I climbed the great wall this morning. You know, the one in China? Not the real China though... It was the abandoned one in Kissimmee that just happens to be a short drive from where I live. It was a destroyed and empty, elaborate, dirty, beautiful, graffittied, garden of defaced miniatures celebrating that largest, over-populated, and inhumane(?) country in Asia. Well maybe not the most inhumane... I hear horror stories about their hospitals though, and everyone is aware of their population control policy...

The silence is where it starts.
The noise, the words, the teeth and mouth,
The clamored, roll of the brain's tongues?
Like sentences as Spanish 'r's
Like silent sounds craving to be out,
Like nervous tapping children who need attention.
This is where it starts.
This is where it stops.
This is not an art, it is a centering of thoughts.
This is plainly pasted here for all to read at my fear's expense,
In hopes of stopping all this quietness.
